I chose Doga Thermal Health & Spa for my first night in Pamukkale. As a hotel dedicated to thermal wellness and therapy, it exudes a deeply relaxing atmosphere the moment you step inside.

While the rooms feature a modern aesthetic, the indoor thermal facilities were the real highlight for me. The hot water comes directly from natural mineral springs, carrying a faint, earthy mineral scent. Soaking in the pool at night while gazing out at the lights of the quiet town, I almost forgot I was traveling; it felt more like a restorative retreat for body and mind.

The breakfast also left a lasting impression. Though not extravagant, it was authentic and satisfying—olives, cheese, bread, honey, and hot tea—simple yet comforting.

The second hotel was Richmond Pamukkale Thermal, a classic example of a thermal resort.

It is larger in scale and boasts extensive facilities, including indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a swimming pool, and a spa area. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor thermal pool at dusk; soaking in the warm water, I could look up and watch the distant mountains and sky gradually shift into shades of orange.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. While the design was somewhat traditional, the hotel excelled through its reliability and polished service. For me, this type of hotel is ideal for travelers seeking a few days of total relaxation rather than a fast-paced sightseeing tour.

The third hotel I stayed at was the Venus Suite Hotel. It came as a pleasant surprise, striking an excellent balance between price and the quality of the experience. The room was clean and tidy, featuring a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains and the town. Although it lacked luxury hot spring facilities, the service was incredibly thoughtful; the staff proactively helped arrange transportation to the Pamukkale site.

The owner’s family was incredibly welcoming, striking up conversations with guests and offering tips on local sightseeing routes. Upon my arrival, they even helped me plan the best itinerary for visiting Hierapolis the next day.

The rooms were simple yet clean, offering a genuine, lived-in feel. Breakfast was served in the courtyard amidst gardens and lemon trees; the sunlight filtering down created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.

5.Anatolia Hotel – A Convenient Choice Close to Pamukkale

For my final night, I stayed at the Anatolia Hotel. Its greatest asset is its location—it is incredibly close to the entrance of Pamukkale.

This was crucial for someone like me who wanted to wake up early for photos. A short walk in the early morning brought me to the site, where I saw the white terraces completely free of crowds—a serenity impossible to experience during the day.

The hotel itself was basic but well-equipped, making it a great choice for short stays or travelers focused primarily on sightseeing.
